Beth Anderson — Executive Vice President

Beth not only plays an important role in running the Laureate Group, she plays a significant role in shaping assisted living in Wisconsin. She was a founding board member of the Wisconsin Assisted Living Association (WALA), and continues to serve on the Advocacy committee. Beth served on the Wisconsin Long-Term Care Advisory Council for nearly 20 years. She also sits on the board for the American Red Cross.

With more than 30 years of senior care experience, Beth’s responsibility is to ensure that our organization upholds its core values: providing quality care, services, and value – delivered by skilled and caring staff.

Beth holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Lisa Stueland, RN - Vice President - Operations, Laureate Group

Lisa Stueland, RN — Vice President 

Lisa is a registered nurse who has worked in long-term care for more than 30 years. In addition to her RN degree, she has received a Specialist in Gerontology Certificate from the University of Wisconsin-Superior and is a Dementia Certified Practitioner. She has been involved in a wide variety of local and statewide professional organizations including Waukesha County Health Council, State of Wisconsin Assisted Living Forum, APIC (Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology) and is currently a Board Member of WALA (Wisconsin Assisted Living Association). Lisa co-authored the WALA publication, Walking Tall in Assisted Living: Your Guide to Falls Management in Wisconsin, and developed the WALA Diamond Accreditation Program as part of WCCEAL (Wisconsin Coalition for Collaborative Excellence in Assisted Living).

Adele Lund - Director Community and Business Relations, Laureate Group

Adele Lund — Director Community and Business Relations

Many people recognize Adele from the numerous programs she’s presented — Downsizing Tips, Moving Forward, How to Pay for Assisted Living, and Difficult Conversations with Aging parents, to name a few. She presents to area professionals within Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) and churches on topics related to aging and senior housing. Drawing upon her decades of senior housing experience, Adele has counseled many families to help them better understand their circumstances, calm them in the midst of chaos, help them to look at their own actions differently, and assist them in identifying viable options to pursue.

Wendy Chossek - Lifestyle Consultant, Laureate Group

Wendy Chossek — Lifestyle Consultant

Wendy leads the Lifestyle team across all of our eight communities. She ensures that our activity programs keep older adults engaged in mind, body, and spirit. She has a BS in Therapeutic Recreation with an emphasis in Gerontology. Wendy is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and a Dementia Certified Practitioner (DCP).

“I strive to not only build a sense of community within each building, but also preserve involvement with the greater community. This happens through intergenerational programming, connections with educators and spiritual leaders, as well as bringing community resources in. One of my goals in developing Lifestyle Programming at every Laureate Group senior community is to offer opportunities for joy and contentment in the lives of each senior.”

Diane Szalai - Dining Services Director, Laureate Group

Diane Szalai — Culinary Services Director

Diane’s many years of experience is a marriage between food service management (MS in Hotel, Restaurant, Institutional Management from Penn State) and the Culinary Arts (Associate in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, N.Y.). Under Diane’s direction, highly trained chefs freshly prepare our meals on site at Laureate Group communities. We focus on scratch cooking with good quality ingredients.
Diane also enjoys sharing her passion by providing cooking programs for area senior groups.
