How Much Does Assisted Living Cost?

If you have just begun your search for assisted living, you may be surprised at how much assisted living services cost at specific communities. It is helpful to consult an objective source when considering the fees for assisted living in comparison to other options for care.

Since 2004, Genworth Financial has surveyed long-term care costs on an annual basis. The most recent survey, completed in June 2018, is the most comprehensive study of its kind and is considered a reliable resource for the long-term care industry. The survey covers 440 regions in the United States, with data collected from more than 15,000 providers.

“Every day until 2030, 10,000 Baby Boomers a day will turn 65 and 7 out of 10 people will require long term care in their lifetime.” – Genworth
