Meet the Executive Director
Laureate Group is fortunate to have Kathy Beltmann leading our Hart Park Square team. She brings us over 26 years of senior care experience in a wide variety of areas - program development and case management, as well as operations. Kathy actively pursued Laureate Group because Laureate’s emphasis on putting resident care first aligned with her values.
“I found that Laureate Group had a similar mission to mine. That is to provide excellent care at a reasonable cost, listen to residents and their families and provide a great life for seniors.”
When she joined Hart Park Square, Kathy ended up trading her short 20 minute commute to her previous place of employment, to over an hour drive each way - - with no regrets. “I love coming to work. I never know exactly where my day will lead, but I know that I will visit with many wonderful seniors, their families and our terrific volunteers, and hopefully, that will make a difference in others’ lives.
Consider Becoming a Volunteer
Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference? Consider becoming a volunteer at Hart Park Square. Join a generous team of folks who choose to share their lives with everyone who calls Hart Park Square home. Volunteer on a regular basis or organize a one-time event. Here are a few examples of what is happening at Hart Park Square:
Kate organizes a monthly Friendship Tea Circle, changing the focus each time. One recent tea celebrated Queen Elizabeth’s Jubilee with English tea selections and tiaras.
John is the piano accompanist for our chorus, joining them Sunday evenings for practice and playing for concerts. His mom Pat also volunteers by helping out with the monthly Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra Prelude concert series with our residents.
Hart Park Square is an official service site for Marquette’s Junior Volunteer program. Students decorate at holiday times, help with games and help residents keep their computer skills sharp. One gifted musician did a special program for our residents twice a month – played banjo and guitar and sang original compositions.
Bonnie, an avid gardener opens her home to residents in summer for a tour of her award-winning garden. And she also welcomes them for a holiday luncheon.
There are many different ways that you can make a difference at Hart Park Square! What do you have in mind?
