Meet the Executive Director

Marie D'Amico

Marie E. D’Amico, comes to us with over 38 years of long-term care experience, 30 of those years have been spent in Executive Management. Marie is a dedicated and compassionate individual with extensive experience directing overall operations of Independent and Assisted Living services.

marie.jpgShe believes it is so important to stay connected to residents and staff that she makes time regularly to walk the building and talk with our older adults and employees. “It makes sense to spend time with the people who make this community a great place!  If there is something that needs to be improved upon, I want to be part of the solution.” Marie adds, “I am very fortunate to be able to work at the Laureate Group because the company’s philosophy and values align with my own. The Laureate Group is committed to providing the highest quality of care and services to our aging population.”

Consider Becoming a Volunteer

Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference? Consider becoming a volunteer at the Arboretum. Join a generous team of folks who choose to share their time and talents. It doesn’t require an ongoing commitment.  Volunteer on a regular basis or organize a one-time event. Here are a few examples of what is happening at The Arboretum:

We have many volunteers who love to share their musical talents - - some weekly, some annually and variations in between.  Thank you to Franklin with Wisconsin Lutheran Institutional Ministries, West Bend High School and Lannon Middle School’s bands for your dedication.  And to the many family members who tinkle the keys for our ongoing enjoyment!

Many local church and school youth groups, Scouts Groups, families and community volunteers ensure that our older adults don’t miss their favorite games like bingo.

We have many area churches and church groups that are dedicated to providing spiritual support ranging from hymn sings, church services, visits, and communion.

Intergenerational programs with the Boys and Girl Scouts, youth groups, and Tree House Day Care provide our people with varied opportunities to enjoy crafts, visits and performances - - enjoying it all through the eyes of youth!

There are many different ways that you can make a difference at The Arboretum! What do you have in mind?
