Locally owned and operated since 1970, the Laureate Group has its heart in Wisconsin, and is one of the largest senior housing providers in Southeastern Wisconsin. Three generations of family ownership have advanced a vision to provide a full range of senior residential options and services and have set us apart by providing outstanding value through high quality, yet affordable services. Our leaders live here and are part of the community, and are easily accessible to residents and families.
Our mission is to provide each individual living in our communities the most appropriate environment and lifestyle in order to maintain maximum independence. We foster an atmosphere where people are encouraged to do and decide as much for themselves as they can, but where there is no bigger priority throughout the day for staff, than helping people get through theirs.
We insist our caregivers are well trained and our service expectations for all employees are firmly stated, and guide us each day. At each of our communities, you’ll find the longevity of our staff is among the best in the industry.
It’s Been Our Experience that Experience Really Matters
Laureate Group has a history of innovative accomplishments that have improved the quality of senior living. We were the first provider in the state to offer apartment style accommodations in assisted living and one of the first in the area to provide full-time Registered Nurses on-site at each of our assisted living communities.
Years ago we developed a proprietary system to monitor quality indicators to continually improve care in assisted living. Our system allows us to staff based not only on the number of people we care for, but also on the amount of care required. Our staffing ratios depend on who we’re caring for, not only how many, and we can adjust staffing in real time based on changing needs we identify.
Advocates for Seniors
We take our role seriously as an advocate for seniors and their families.
Appointed to the Governors Council on Long-Term Care in 1999, she presently serves on the Wisconsin Long-Term Care Advisory Council. The group advises the Department of Health Services on issues relating to its long-term care programs for seniors and adults with disabilities, including the development of new services, and the policies and operations of programs such as Family Care.
Our corporate offices are in Waukesha, WI and our communities are spread across Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties: in Glendale, Greenfield, St. Francis, Wauwatosa, West Allis, Waukesha, Menomonee Falls, and Oconomowoc.
